About the Role This is a hands-on position combining real-time trade execution, risk monitoring, and trading platform administration. You will play a key part in ensuring smooth, compliant, and high-quality trading operations while maintaining the reliability and performance of the company's trading platforms.
The role suits an experienced junior to mid-level professional with solid forex/CFD dealing background and proven hands-on experience administering trading platforms (especially MT5, cTrader, or similar systems).
Key Responsibilities Dealing & Risk Management - Execute and monitor client and internal CFD/FX transactions in real time, always following best execution standards
- Continuously monitor market exposure, liquidity, and overall risk positions
- Quote prices, confirm trades, and book transactions in line with internal procedures and regulatory standards
- Implement and manage hedging strategies according to company risk policies
- Stay updated on market developments, economic releases, news events, and geopolitical factors affecting trading
- Coordinate with liquidity providers to secure competitive pricing and quickly resolve any execution issues
Trading Platform Administration - Administer, configure, and maintain trading platforms (e.g., MT5, cTrader, TradeLocker, or proprietary systems) to ensure 24/7 reliability and optimal performance
- Manage user accounts, groups, permissions, and access rights for clients and internal staff
- Proactively monitor platform health, troubleshoot technical issues, and escalate to IT/third-party providers when necessary
- Apply platform updates, patches, and new features in coordination with technology teams
- Perform regular audits of platform settings to maintain compliance and operational efficiency
- Generate and analyse reports on platform activity, trade execution quality, and system performance
Compliance, Reporting & Support - Ensure all trading and platform activities fully comply with applicable regulations and internal policies
- Prepare clear, regular reports on trading activity, risk metrics, and platform performance for management
- Support regulatory inquiries and assist with audit documentation as required
- Collaborate closely with back-office, risk, compliance, customer support, and IT teams to resolve issues and improve processes
- Provide trading-related guidance to customer support and assist in testing new platform features, integrations, or products
Skills and experience needed: - 2-5 years of practical experience as a Forex/CFD Dealer, ideally in a regulated broker, prop firm, or funded trading environment
- Must-have: Proven hands-on experience administering trading platforms (MT5, cTrader, or similar) including back-office/user management functions
- Solid understanding of CFD/FX instruments, margin trading, leverage, and core risk management principles
- Basic technical skills (SQL queries, APIs, or simple scripting) are a strong advantage
- High attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, and excellent problem-solving ability
- Ability to stay calm and perform accurately in fast-paced, high-pressure market conditions
- Good communication skills for working with internal teams and external liquidity providers
