Responsibilities:
- Execute financial accounting processes in line with US GAAP.
- Maintain accurate and complete policy and claims data across Excel and internal systems.
- Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation for premiums, claims, UPR, and IBNR.
- Prepare premium and claims reports, including profit commission calculations.
- Support actuarial and technical accounting reconciliations.
- Assess the reasonableness of actuarial calculations and provisions.
- Prepare IFRS 17 administrative expense data.
- Liaise with group finance on monthly management information.
- Assist with statutory, regulatory, and financial reporting.
- Contribute to ad hoc finance projects and process improvements.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with relevant international regulatory requirements.
- Accounting qualification or currently studying towards one.
- Experience in a regulated financial services environment is an advantage.
- Working knowledge of relevant accounting standards (US GAAP and/or IFRS).
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
