A well established CSP is looking to hire a Head of Accounting to lead the accounting team.
Responsibilities:

- Lead and develop a team of accountants and assistants in line with the EOS management framework.
- Encourage a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance across the team.
- Manage performance processes, including reviews, feedback, and ongoing professional development.
- Plan and allocate resources effectively to meet operational deadlines and client commitments.
- Oversee the delivery of accounting and tax services, including financial reporting and tax submissions.
- Enhance and maintain accounting policies, systems, and processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensure full compliance with Maltese statutory, tax, and regulatory obligations, including VAT, payroll, and audits.
- Ensure adherence to applicable local and international accounting standards.
- Recognised professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent).
- At least two years’ experience in a managerial or supervisory accounting role.
- Strong technical expertise in Maltese accounting, tax, VAT, and statutory reporting.
- Working knowledge of international accounting standards.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
