Boston Link is currently partnering with an insurance brokering firm based in the Eastern Region of Malta, which is recruiting for an Assistant Insurance Broker. This is a permanent position offering a salary of up to €27,000 per annum.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Travel and Purchase Protection claims for BOV Gold, Platinum, and Skypass cardholders
• Process claims within delegated authority and escalate where required
• Liaise with insurers, loss adjusters, legal and medical professionals to ensure timely settlements
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date claim files, documentation, and system records
• Handle daily correspondence with clients and external stakeholders
• Work closely with Finance and Accounts to ensure correct invoicing and settlements
• Support compliance requirements and assist with complaints handling
• Deliver a customer-focused service throughout the full claims lifecycle

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in insurance claims handling (preferred)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High attention to detail with excellent organisational abilities
• Confident in managing systems, databases, and documentation
• Proactive, ethical, and reliable with a strong customer service mindset
• Team player with the ability to collaborate across departments
