Our client an international investment company expanding in different industries and international locations is looking to hire an Operations manager to handle operations of their new franchise in F&B.
This is an opportunity for a candidate who wants to expand their career in not only managing a team across Cyprus but also looking to expand in operational functions such as marketing and growth.
The ideal candidate will combine strong operational control with people management, supplier coordination, and business development skills, coming from the HORECA or F&B sector.
The candidate must be based in Cyprus already.
Key Responsibilities
· Oversee daily operations of all existing restaurants to ensure smooth workflows, quality standards, and profitability
· Implement and improve operational procedures, cost control, and service standards
· Monitor KPIs, sales performance, staff productivity, and customer satisfaction
· Manage relationships with suppliers and negotiate pricing and terms
· Control inventory, ordering processes, and food cost optimization
· Recruit, hire, onboard, and train restaurant staff and management
· Organize work schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels
· Build a motivated and disciplined team culture
· Coordinate and manage the opening of new restaurant locations
· Participate in site selection, setup, staffing, and launch activities
· Support scaling of operational systems for multi-city expansion
· Cooperate with marketing partners and support local promotional campaigns
· Manage relationships with delivery platforms (e.g., Wolt, Bolt Food, Foody, etc.)
· Optimize menu presentation, pricing, and promotions on delivery platforms
· Communicate with local authorities and regulatory bodies
· Ensure compliance with health, safety, labor, and licensing regulations
Skills and experience needed:
· Proven experience as Operations Manager / Restaurant Manager / Area Manager in food & beverage or HORECA sector
· Strong understanding of restaurant operations, cost control, and supplier management
· Experience with staff recruitment and team leadership
· Knowledge of working with delivery platforms and basic marketing coordination
· Ability to manage multiple locations and expansion projects
· Strong organizational and communication skills
· Fluent in English (Greek or Russian is a strong advantage)
· Driving license preferred
