This is a key client-facing position where you will act as the dedicated advocate and advisor for a growing portfolio of merchants, bridging the gap between them and leading Payment Service Providers (PSPs). You will guide merchants through onboarding, optimize their payment setups, and provide ongoing strategic advice to enhance performance and achieve their business objectives in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a part of their growing portfolio of merchants, ensuring their payment solutions align with business goals and deliver optimal results
  • Serve as the primary liaison between merchants and PSPs, streamlining onboarding, resolving issues, and building long-term collaborative relationships
  • Develop close partnerships with merchants by offering expert business advisory, analyzing their models, and recommending tailored payment solutions and pricing structures
  • Analyze merchant financial and performance data to identify opportunities, implement improvements, and boost profitability through enhanced payment strategies
  • Stay informed on PSP offerings, onboarding requirements, and performance trends to effectively match merchants with the best providers
  • Maintain and nurture ongoing relationships between merchants and PSPs to ensure satisfaction, smooth operations, and mutual success
  • Track key performance metrics, prepare insightful reports, and contribute actively to monthly team and divisional targets through strategic planning and execution
Skills and experience needed:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Proven experience in portfolio or account management within payments, fintech, merchant services, or payment solutions. 
  • Proven experience in providing payment solutions in previous roles.
  • Strong analytical abilities with hands-on experience interpreting financial data, performance metrics, and making data-driven recommendations
  • Familiarity with high-risk industry sectors, including an understanding of associated challenges, regulatory requirements, and compliance considerations
  • Solid knowledge of global payment methods, pricing models (e.g., interchange++, blended, etc.), and how they influence merchant operations and costs
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills — able to build trust, negotiate effectively, and explain complex concepts clearly
  • Ability to stay organized, prioritize tasks, and maintain focus in a dynamic, fast-moving environment
