They are currently looking for a
Senior Data Engineer to join their team.
The role As a Senior Data Engineer, you will:
- Build and scale robust data pipelines using Python, SQL, Airflow, and DBT
- Develop and maintain real-time data processing solutions using Kafka and Spark Structured Streaming
- Ingest and transform data from a wide range of sources and formats (JSON, Avro, Parquet, APIs, etc.)
- Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the data platform and overall architecture
- Deploy and manage services using Kubernetes and Infrastructure-as-Code tools
- Mentor other engineers and foster a collaborative, learning-driven team culture
- Work closely with stakeholders to deliver actionable, high-impact data solutions
What you’ll bring To be successful in this role, you’ll have:
- Strong Python and SQL skills
- Hands-on experience with the modern data stack
- Experience using Kubernetes for service orchestration
- Background in distributed data processing (Spark or Trino)
- Familiarity with Kafka, particularly for data consumption use cases
- Proven ownership of data initiatives from concept through to production
- Confidence working autonomously and making architectural decisions
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Nice to have (training provided)
- Knowledge of open data formats, particularly Apache Iceberg
