A growing financial institution is seeking a talented Associate Relationship Manager to join its dynamic team of professionals. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the growth of the corporate book of business while developing your career in a supportive, high-performing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support Relationship Managers in assessing customers' creditworthiness
  • Assist with customer due diligence and act as part of the first line of defence in line with the Bank's Risk and AML framework
  • Communicate with customers to collect financial data, documentation, and other information required for business proposals
  • Respond to inquiries, providing information or directing requests to the appropriate teams
  • Assist Relationship Managers in pre-planning and executing scheduled reviews, preparing annual review assessments, and identifying potential new risks
  • Support preparation of client reviews, including financial analysis, industry and competitor analyses, and identification of key risks
  • Monitor and service existing relationships and facilities
  • Collaborate with Risk, Operations, Compliance, and Legal teams to ensure smooth end-to-end processes
  • Deliver excellent customer service for both lending and deposit products
  • Support a culture of continuous process improvement and uphold professional practice and quality control standards
  • Participate in system testing and implementation to meet corporate team requirements
Qualifications / Requirements:
  • Knowledge of credit operations, corporate loans, and other corporate products (including Bank Guarantees) is an asset
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and strong organisational, prioritisation, and time-management skills
  • Proactive, eager to take on responsibilities, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance team
  • Strong communication, analytical, and financial skills, ensuring clarity and accuracy in reporting to management
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to continuous learning
  • Strong team skills, fostering cooperation and trust
  • Positive attitude and self-motivated
  • Fluent in Maltese and English
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Microsoft Excel
