A well-established organisation is looking to hire a Senior AML Executive to join their team.
Responsibilities: - Support the AML Manager in day-to-day operational and strategic activities.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of AML/CFT strategies and initiatives.
- Supervise and manage the work and performance of AML Executives and Officers.
- Lead and conduct AML/CFT compliance examinations.
- Draft, review, and sign detailed AML/CFT examination reports in a timely manner.
- Present findings and supporting evidence to relevant administrative and judicial bodies.
- Liaise with local authorities and key stakeholders on AML-related matters.
- Conduct interviews and assessments of applicant MLROs.
Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree (MQF Level 6 or equivalent), preferably in Law, Accounting, IT, or Criminology.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in an AML/CFT or related compliance role.
- At least 1 year’s experience in a supervisory or people management role.
- Strong knowledge of EU and Maltese AML/CFT laws and regulations.
- Excellent report-writing, analytical, and presentation skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Proven leadership, organisational, and project ownership capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strategic, critical, and analytical thinker.
