A well-established organisation is looking to hire a Financial Analysis Officer to join their team.
Responsibilities: - Assess and advise on financial stability risks of applicants and licensed entities.
- Review and analyse audited financial statements and financial information submitted by licensees.
- Monitor licensees’ financial position, including liquidity, capital structure, forecasts, and financial support.
- Provide recommendations to management on financial suitability, sustainability, and risk.
- Identify, investigate, and report financial risks, proposing appropriate controls and mitigation measures.
- Produce regular and ad hoc financial risk reports with clear findings and recommendations.
- Support compliance reviews, audits, and regulatory supervision activities.
- Liaise with licensees, auditors, authorised representatives, and internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of supervisory policies, procedures, and processes.
Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business (MQF Level 6 or equivalent); relevant experience may be considered.
- Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Experience in auditing is an advantage.
- Knowledge of the Maltese gaming industry and regulatory framework is an asset.
- High attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive, accountable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
