A well-established organisation is looking to hire a Financial Compliance Manager to join their team.
Responsibilities: - Lead and manage the Financial Compliance function, overseeing day-to-day operations and strategic development.
- Oversee reviews of licensees’ financial statements, audit reports, recapitalisation plans, and regulatory submissions.
- Monitor industry trends and advise senior management on financial risks and mitigation measures.
- Provide financial compliance guidance and support to other Directorates and cross-functional initiatives.
- Lead and coordinate team projects and deliverables.
- Set, monitor, and manage KPIs to ensure operational effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery.
- Drive process improvements, innovation, and effective use of technology.
- Mentor, coach, and develop team members, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Prepare high-quality reports and updates for senior management and governance bodies.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements: - Degree in Finance, Accounting, ACCA, or related field (MQF Level 6 or equivalent).
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a people management or leadership role.
- Experience in financial compliance, supervision, or a similar role is an advantage.
- Strategic planning and project management experience is an asset.
- Excellent written and spoken English with strong reporting and presentation skills.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and leadership skills.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to take ownership.
