As a Programme Manager, you'll oversee a portfolio of strategic projects aligned with the National AML/CFT Strategy and international standards. You'll coordinate cross-functional teams, manage key stakeholders, and ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. Your work will directly influence how Malta's financial regulatory ecosystem evolves to meet emerging risks and global expectations.

What You'll Be Doing - Lead and oversee the implementation of multiple concurrent projects, ranging from large-scale strategic programmes to targeted tactical initiatives
- Ensure all projects align with the National AML/CFT Strategy and relevant international AML/CFT standards
- Drive coordination and communication across project teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely execution
- Take an active role in change management, including prioritisation of initiatives and resolution of cross-project dependencies and conflicts
- Develop, maintain, and monitor programme plans, ensuring milestones are met within agreed timelines and budgets
- Maintain comprehensive programme and project documentation to ensure transparency and accountability
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to identify lessons learned and continuous improvement opportunities
- Provide regular performance updates to senior management and relevant governance bodies
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks through qualitative and quantitative analysis and structured mitigation planning
- Plan procurement requirements, including drafting and reviewing bills of quantities
- Review contracts and Service Level Agreements to ensure alignment with programme objectives
- Oversee quality management processes across assigned initiatives
- Liaise with Corporate Services to coordinate procurement procedures related to assigned projects
- Carry out any additional duties assigned by management in line with organisational priorities
Qualifications & Experience Required - An MQF Level 6 qualification in a subject relevant to this role, coupled with at least 4 years' relevant work experience OR - An MQF Level 5 qualification in a subject relevant to this role, coupled with at least 5 years' relevant work experience
- Strong working knowledge of Programme and Project Management tools and methodologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding organisational, leadership, and multi-tasking capabilities
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Fluency in both Maltese and English
- Demonstrated knowledge of AML/CFT frameworks and international standards will be considered an asset
- Ability to confidently manage cross-functional teams and complex stakeholder environments
