Our client, a long-established and highly respected organisation within Malta’s financial services sector, is seeking to strengthen its technology team with a Senior Applications Integrator. This role is ideal for a professional who combines strong system administration expertise with deep integration knowledge.

This is a hands-on position where you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust integrations across critical enterprise systems. You will collaborate closely with development, infrastructure, and network teams to ensure systems communicate efficiently, securely, and reliably across both on-premise and cloud environments.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Design, implement, and maintain application integrations using APIs, XML, and other integration protocols
• Administer and maintain application servers to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability
• Work extensively with SQL, data warehouses, and ETL tools to support data integration and transformation
• Manage and maintain cloud environments across platforms such as AWS and Azure
• Collaborate with development, systems, and network teams to ensure seamless service integration
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration, system administration, and cloud-related issues
• Document integration processes, architectural designs, and best practices
• Support the deployment and configuration of new applications across multi-platform environments

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• Solid experience in system administration across both Windows and Linux environments
• Strong expertise in API design, system integration, and XML processing
• Proficiency in SQL and relational database management
• Experience working with application servers such as WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss, or similar
• Experience managing cloud platforms and services (AWS and Azure)
• Good understanding of networking, security principles, and server deployment
• Knowledge of software development will be considered an asset
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

Working Hours:
Monday – Thursday: 08:00 – 17:00
Friday: 08:00 – 14:30
