Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of clients across various industries, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring high service quality.
- Maintain accounting records in line with applicable accounting standards.
- Prepare VAT returns, tax returns, and management accounts, and liaise with auditors.
- Manage workflows, deadlines, and project-based financial reporting tasks.
- Review work of junior team members and provide guidance and support.
- Assist with client onboarding and identify opportunities for business growth.
- Propose and support improvements to systems and processes.
- ACCA qualified or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a client-facing accounting role, ideally within a CSP environment.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS/local accounting standards and Maltese VAT and tax legislation.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Proficient in digital accounting systems; experience with Xero is an advantage.
