Our client is a leading global technology provider in the financial markets sector, developing high-performance trading infrastructure. We are looking for a Senior C++ Developer to join a high-performance trading platforms project. You will work on core components of advanced trading technology, including language compilers, distributed systems, and secure integration with financial exchanges.
Key Responsibilities - Design and develop core components of the company's proprietary programming language and its toolchain (compiler, debugger, profiler)
- Build and optimise high-load distributed client-server systems and distributed computing environments
- Develop integrations with financial exchange platforms and external trading systems
- Implement secure communication protocols and systems with enhanced resistance to attacks
- Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and real-time failover capabilities in geo-distributed architectures
- Work with modern C++ features, multi-threading, inter-process communication, and asynchronous programming
Requirements - Strong C++ programming skills (Windows experience preferred, Linux is a plus)
- Solid understanding of operating systems, algorithms, and data structures
- Hands-on experience with multi-threaded programming and inter-process communication (IPC)
- Proficiency in debugging tools, performance profiling, and code optimisation techniques
- Ability to work independently, make technical decisions, and translate business requirements into efficient solutions
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and self-criticism
