Our client is a leading global technology provider in the financial markets sector, developing high-performance trading infrastructure. We are looking for an experienced Head of Mobile Application Development to lead our mobile development team. In this senior leadership role, you will be responsible for building and enhancing mobile applications that are used daily by a large global user base of traders. You will drive technical excellence, manage a team of mobile developers, and play a key role in delivering high-quality, user-focused mobile experiences.
Key Responsibilities - Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of mobile developers (iOS and Android)
- Set clear goals, allocate priorities, and manage resources to ensure timely and high-quality delivery
- Conduct technical analysis of business requirements and break them down into detailed technical tasks
- Oversee the technical architecture and design of mobile applications
- Manage technical debt and ensure high code quality through regular code reviews
- Maintain effective communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders across different departments
- Ensure every team member clearly understands project goals and their individual contributions
- Monitor and control the overall technical scope and development roadmap
Requirements - 3+ years of experience in a Team Lead or similar people-management role in mobile development
- Strong hands-on experience developing iOS and/or Android applications using modern languages (Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, or similar)
- Solid understanding of mobile application architecture design principles
- Proven ability to analyse business requirements and translate them into clear technical tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and align the team
- Knowledge of the Russian language (spoken and written) is required
