Our client, an international insurance broker, is looking to hire an Operations Manager.
Responsibilities: - Support the CEO and senior management in driving operational excellence and implementing company policies and procedures.
- Lead the annual budgeting process and monitor financial performance against targets.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, including monthly quality assurance reviews.
- Oversee compliance with Group policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Support oversight of UK branch operations, including occasional travel.
- Manage outsourcing arrangements, supplier documentation, and insurance renewals.
- Maintain business continuity plans and coordinate testing.
- Support HR initiatives in collaboration with leadership.
- Ensure health and safety compliance and workplace standards.
- Prepare management information and reports for executive meetings.
Requirements: - Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage priorities, delegate effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Experience in implementing internal controls and operational processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong reporting skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of commercial insurance or London market practices is an advantage.
