Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on international industry trends, legal developments, and market insights.
- Monitor EU legislation and provide internal guidance on potential business impact.
- Engage with international stakeholders, partners, and industry representatives.
- Represent the organisation at meetings, conferences, and industry events.
- Support data protection compliance, including risk assessments and process improvements.
- Draft and review contracts with a focus on data protection requirements.
- Prepare Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).
- Monitor developments in data protection laws and assess their impact.
- Deliver internal training and awareness sessions on data protection practices.
- Degree in Law (or equivalent).
- Strong research, analytical, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of data protection and/or regulated industries is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Previous legal or international exposure is an advantage.
