Our client one of the most established fintech institutions with almost 20 years operations offering trading solutions for its clients, is looking to hire an experienced Payment Solutions Manager to drive the development, expansion, and adoption of their global payment infrastructure within the online trading industry.
In this role, you will take ownership of integrating Payment Service Providers (PSPs), expanding payment capabilities, and supporting brokerage firms in implementing scalable and efficient payment solutions. You will work at the intersection of payments technology, product development, and client success, collaborating closely with engineering teams, payment providers, and brokerage partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive the integration strategy for Payment Service Providers (PSPs) and alternative payment methods across multiple regions
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new PSP partners to expand global payment coverage and improve transaction success rates
- Lead the end-to-end PSP integration lifecycle — from technical evaluation and onboarding through testing, go-live, and continuous optimization
- Work closely with engineering and product teams to define technical requirements, API specifications, and payment workflows
- Manage technical collaboration with PSP partners, including API integrations, sandbox testing, and implementation processes
- Monitor and analyse key payment performance metrics such as authorization rates, transaction routing, and processing efficiency
- Continuously optimize the payment stack by introducing new payment methods, routing strategies, and advanced capabilities
- Act as a payments expert and trusted advisor to brokerage clients implementing the payment solution
- Support brokers in selecting and integrating the most suitable PSPs and payment methods for their regional and operational needs
- Present and demonstrate the capabilities and value of the payment solution to prospective and existing clients
- Collaborate with commercial teams to support client discussions, solution design, and payment architecture planning
- Stay up to date with global payment trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory developments
- Maintain clear documentation of integrations, workflows, and operational procedures
Skills and experience needed - 3–5+ years of experience in payments, PSP integrations, or payment infrastructure
- Hands-on experience working with payment gateways, PSP APIs, and payment orchestration workflows
- Strong understanding of global payment ecosystems, including cards, alternative payment methods (APMs), and cross-border transactions
- Experience coordinating technical integrations with external payment providers
- Ability to work effectively with engineering teams and interpret technical documentation (APIs, SDKs, webhooks, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to monitor and optimise payment performance metrics
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical, operational, and commercial stakeholders
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Candidates must be willing to work onsite (there is flexibility on starting and ending times)
Preferred Qualifications - Previous experience in FinTech, payments infrastructure, or online trading platforms
- Familiarity with brokerage platforms or trading ecosystems
- Experience supporting B2B clients in implementing payment solutions
- Knowledge of payment workflow management and chargeback processes
