Junior Technical Analyst - Technical Compliance
A leading regulatory organisation within the digital and gaming sector is looking to hire a Junior Technical Analyst to join its Technical Compliance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is passionate about technology, compliance, and regulatory oversight, and wants to gain exposure to complex systems, audits, and international operators. You'll play a key role in ensuring that licensed entities meet strict technical and regulatory standards, while working alongside experienced professionals in a structured and high-impact environment.
 
What You'll Be Doing
As part of the Technical Compliance team, you will support the review, audit, and monitoring of licensed operators and their systems:
  • Review applications and technical documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards
  • Assist in post-licensing compliance activities, including audit reviews and on-site inspections (local & international)
  • Evaluate systems, infrastructure, and operational processes to ensure adherence to applicable regulations
  • Monitor and follow up on non-compliance issues, ensuring timely resolution
  • Review security incident reports and liaise with stakeholders for further investigation
  • Support reviews of new games, providers, domains, and system changes
  • Assist in system audits, supervisory engagements, and technical reviews
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to detailed reports, recommendations, and compliance documentation
  • Participate in meetings with prospective applicants and industry stakeholders
 
What We're Looking For
  • Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MQF Level 5 or equivalent)
  • Strong interest in IT systems, compliance, and regulatory environments
  • Willingness to pursue professional certifications such as CISA (sponsored)
  • Ability to analyse technical information and identify risk areas
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive, professional, and team-oriented mindset
Experience in IT systems or financial auditing is considered an asset, but not essential.

Salary: €31,000 - €35,000
