About the Role We are seeking an experienced and strategic HR Director to lead the global People function. This is a senior leadership position that reports directly to the Board. You will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for shaping and executing the HR strategy to support the company's rapid international growth and ambitious business objectives.
Key Responsibilities - Develop and implement a comprehensive global HR strategy aligned with the company's business goals
- Lead and develop HR teams across multiple international locations
- Oversee the full employee lifecycle: talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, development, and retention
- Drive initiatives to strengthen company culture, employee engagement, and employer branding
- Design and manage competitive compensation, benefits, and reward programs
- Ensure full compliance with employment laws across different jurisdictions
- Act as a trusted strategic advisor to the Board and senior leadership on all people-related matters
- Lead organizational development, change management, and leadership development programs
- Build scalable HR processes, policies, and systems to support continued growth
Requirements - 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3-4 years in a senior HR leadership role (HR Director or Head of HR)
- Previous experience in a fintech or payments environment (highly preferred)
- Proven track record managing global HR teams and operations across multiple countries
- Strong knowledge of international employment law and best practices
- Experience building and scaling HR functions in fast-growing organizations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Fluency in English is a must (both written and spoken)
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on execution style
- Additional European languages are a strong advantage
