About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced
Merchant Onboarding Specialist to manage the end-to-end onboarding of Forex brokers, prop trading firms, and other trading-related merchants. This role sits at the intersection of compliance, risk assessment, and client success. You will play a key part in ensuring smooth, efficient, and compliant merchant activation while maintaining high standards of due diligence.
Key Responsibilities - Manage the full onboarding lifecycle for Forex brokers, prop trading firms, and FX-related merchants
- Review and verify KYC documentation, corporate structures, and legal packages
- Conduct thorough due diligence and risk assessments on merchants and their business activities
- Evaluate client licensing setups, jurisdictional compliance, and overall risk profile
- Ensure all onboarding processes comply with AML, KYC, and internal risk policies
- Coordinate effectively with Compliance, Payments, Sales, and Technical teams
- Identify potential risks related to client profiles and payment flows
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in CRM and internal systems
Requirements - 2+ years of experience in Forex, FinTech, Payments, or Financial Services
- Solid understanding of KYC/AML procedures, especially with high-risk merchant categories
- Experience reviewing corporate documentation (incorporation papers, UBOs, company structures, etc.)
- Good knowledge of merchant assessment and payment processing workflows
- Understanding of Forex broker business models (retail brokers, prop firms, IBs, white-labels)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Experience working with CRM systems
