Boston Link is currently supporting a well established Banking institution in Malta in the search for a Private Banking Manager to join their growing team.
  
This position will focus heavily on the operational leadership of the Private Banking function, overseeing day to day activities, team management, client onboarding and ensuring all services are delivered in line with MiFID and regulatory requirements.
  
Role Responsibilities:
• Lead, mentor and manage the Private Banking team on a day to day basis
• Ensure all private banking operations are conducted in line with MiFID and regulatory requirements
• Oversee client onboarding processes including high net worth individuals and complex client structures
• Act as an escalation point for operational, compliance and investment related matters
• Maintain strong governance, operational controls and segregation of duties across the department
• Liaise closely with Compliance, Risk, Customer Onboarding and other internal departments
• Ensure adherence to AML/CFT, EMIR, MAD and Investment Services regulations
• Support audits, regulatory inspections and remediation projects
• Manage operational processes relating to complaints, legal orders and client account maintenance
• Assist in improving operational efficiency, internal processes and client experience initiatives
• Participate in investment and market discussions alongside senior stakeholders and the Investment Committee
• Maintain and enhance departmental procedures, policies and operational documentation
• Build and maintain strong relationships with private banking clients and key stakeholders
