This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the bank’s regulatory reporting framework, ensuring compliance with prudential requirements, and maintaining high standards of reporting accuracy across multiple regulatory obligations.
Key Responsibilities • Lead the preparation, review, and submission of regulatory returns in line with applicable banking regulations. • Oversee reporting requirements related to capital adequacy, liquidity, financial reporting, and prudential disclosures. • Ensure compliance with evolving regulatory frameworks, including European banking regulations and supervisory expectations. • Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding regulatory reporting matters. • Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on reporting processes and controls. • Collaborate closely with Finance, Risk, Treasury, Compliance, and external auditors. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, automation projects, and reporting enhancements. • Manage and develop a regulatory reporting team while promoting a strong control environment. Requirements • University degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking, Economics, or a related discipline. • Significant experience within regulatory reporting, prudential reporting, or financial reporting in a banking environment. • Strong knowledge of regulatory reporting frameworks applicable to credit institutions. • Experience with capital, liquidity, and financial regulatory returns. • Solid understanding of European banking regulations and supervisory requirements. • Proven leadership and stakeholder management experience. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
