Boston Link is currently supporting a leading performance marketing business in the search for an experienced Development Team Lead.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineering leader to drive the development of technology platforms supporting affiliate marketing, publisher operations and campaign tracking. The successful candidate will lead engineering teams, influence technical strategy and deliver scalable solutions that support continued business growth.

What You'll Do

• Lead and mentor software engineering teams across multiple products and initiatives.
• Drive delivery of platforms supporting affiliate marketing and publisher operations.
• Work closely with Product Managers and business stakeholders to define technical priorities.
• Oversee the development and optimisation of campaign tracking and reporting solutions.
• Support the design and implementation of integrations with third-party platforms and partners.
• Improve engineering processes, development standards and delivery frameworks.
• Collaborate with teams responsible for media buying, publisher management and commercial operations.
• Ensure platforms remain scalable, reliable and capable of supporting continued growth.
• Participate in technical decision-making and architectural planning.
• Support recruitment, performance management and career development within the engineering team.
• Drive continuous improvement across development and delivery processes.
• Work closely with commercial teams to understand business requirements.

Requirements

• Previous experience leading software engineering teams.
• Strong background in web application development.
• Experience working with affiliate marketing, AdTech or performance marketing platforms.
• Understanding of tracking technologies, attribution systems and campaign reporting.
• Experience working with DSPs, publisher technologies or advertising platforms would be highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and scalable systems design.
• Experience working within Agile development environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Technical background in PHP, Node.js, JavaScript or similar technologies.
• Previous experience managing engineers and technical delivery.
• Experience building scalable, high-availability systems.
• Strong leadership and coaching capabilities.
