Boston Link is currently supporting a leading local organisation in the search for an HR Manager.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional to take ownership of the full employee lifecycle while supporting business growth and organisational development. The successful candidate will work closely with management teams to drive employee engagement, ensure compliance and implement effective people strategies across the business.
What You'll Do - Assist and facilitate collaboration between business units to achieve shared objectives and improve communication across the organisation.
- Update and recommend HR policies and practices in line with company guidelines and business needs.
- Evaluate, implement and maintain employee relations initiatives to promote engagement, motivation and performance.
- Develop and implement effective recruitment and selection strategies.
- Maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies and talent partners.
- Conduct exit interviews and recommend initiatives to improve employee retention.
- Plan, implement and maintain remuneration structures, employee incentives and related budgets.
- Align employee objectives with wider business and company goals.
- Ensure legal and regulatory compliance across all HR activities.
- Conduct investigations, maintain employee records and represent the company in employment-related matters when required.
- Develop and support workplace health and safety initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and HR best practices.
Requirements - University degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Maltese Employment Law.
- Previous experience within an HR Management position.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate teams and manage employee relations effectively.
- Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong organisational and administrative capabilities.
- Experience within retail or food retail environments would be considered an asset.
