Key Responsibilities • Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and key control accounts.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records and the general ledger.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting activities.
• Coordinate month end closing processes and perform financial variance analysis.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Support business decision making through financial analysis and reporting.
• Maintain and improve internal controls and finance governance processes.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors.
• Support regulatory reporting activities where applicable.
• Work closely with Risk, Compliance, IT, Data and other business functions.
• Drive finance process improvements and automation initiatives.
Requirements • Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• ACCA, ACA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
• At least 5 years of experience in accounting, financial control, audit or finance operations.
• Previous experience within banking, financial services or another regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
• Experience with financial controls, regulatory reporting and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross functional teams.
