Finance Manager This is an excellent opportunity for a fully qualified accountant looking to take ownership of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and finance operations within a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities - Lead and develop the accounting function, ensuring robust financial controls and efficient finance operations.
- Oversee accounts payable, receivable and general accounting activities.
- Ensure timely completion of daily bank reconciliations and month-end close processes.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements.
- Produce consolidated financial reports across multiple group companies.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
- Prepare financial analyses to support strategic business decisions and cash flow management.
- Coordinate the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.
- Ensure compliance with statutory reporting, tax obligations and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities where required.
- Maintain and enhance internal controls and accounting policies.
- Work closely with finance teams across the group to ensure consistency and reporting accuracy.
- Present financial information and reports to senior management and Directors.
Requirements - Fully qualified ACCA, ACA or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in a similar finance management role.
- Strong experience preparing management accounts and financial statements.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
- Previous exposure to consolidated reporting across multiple entities.
- Experience working within financial services, payments, banking or another regulated industry would be considered an asset.
- Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
