Finance Manager 

This is an excellent opportunity for a fully qualified accountant looking to take ownership of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and finance operations within a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the accounting function, ensuring robust financial controls and efficient finance operations.
• Oversee accounts payable, receivable and general accounting activities.
• Ensure timely completion of daily bank reconciliations and month-end close processes.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements.
• Produce consolidated financial reports across multiple group companies.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Prepare financial analyses to support strategic business decisions and cash flow management.
• Coordinate the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.
• Ensure compliance with statutory reporting, tax obligations and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities where required.
• Maintain and enhance internal controls and accounting policies.
• Work closely with finance teams across the group to ensure consistency and reporting accuracy.
• Present financial information and reports to senior management and Directors.

Requirements

• Fully qualified ACCA, ACA or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in a similar finance management role.
• Strong experience preparing management accounts and financial statements.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Previous exposure to consolidated reporting across multiple entities.
• Experience working within financial services, payments, banking or another regulated industry would be considered an asset.
• Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
