Our client is the Cyprus branch of a leading global mid-market M&A and corporate finance advisory firm with an extensive international network. They specialise in providing expert advice on mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, divestitures, and strategic transactions to mid-sized companies across multiple sectors.
About the Role Our client is seeking a highly connected and results-driven Senior Relationship Manager to join their Nicosia team. This is a key business development role focused on building and nurturing long-term client relationships, originating M&A opportunities, and contributing to the firm's continued growth in Cyprus and the wider region.
You will leverage your strong professional network to identify and develop new mandates, maintain senior-level relationships with business owners, executives, and investors, and serve as a trusted advisor in the M&A and corporate finance space.
Key Responsibilities - Proactively develop and manage a robust pipeline of M&A, capital raising, and strategic advisory opportunities through networking and relationship cultivation
- Build and expand relationships with mid-market business owners, CEOs, private equity firms, family offices, and other key decision-makers in Cyprus and internationally
- Lead origination efforts and collaborate closely with the deal execution team to convert relationships into active mandates
- Act as a trusted strategic advisor, gaining deep insight into clients' objectives and guiding them on potential transactions
- Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and high-level networking functions to increase visibility and generate new business
- Work with the firm's global network to facilitate cross-border opportunities and deliver exceptional service
- Contribute to thought leadership, marketing activities, and sector-focused initiatives
- Stay informed on market trends and M&A dynamics across relevant industries
What We're Looking For - Proven track record in relationship management, business development, or deal origination within M&A, corporate finance, investment banking, or related professional services
- Very strong networking skills with an established, relevant business network in Cyprus and/or the broader region
- Good understanding of M&A processes, deal structuring, valuation, and transaction execution
- Senior-level communication and interpersonal abilities, with confidence engaging C-suite executives and business owners
- Entrepreneurial, proactive mindset with a strong drive to originate and close new business
- Experience in the Cyprus or regional market is a significant advantage
- Fluency in English. Greek will be considered a strong advantage
- Cyprus or EU work eligibility is a must
