ERP Support Consultant

About the Role
A well-established software solutions provider is looking for an ERP Support Consultant to join its growing customer support team in Malta.
 
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with ERP support experience who enjoys working directly with clients, solving business application issues, and delivering high-quality customer service. You'll play a key role in supporting ERP users, providing functional consultancy, and ensuring customers get the most value from their business software.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for customers requiring assistance with ERP applications.
• Provide remote and on-site support, consultancy, and user guidance for ERP solutions.
• Assist clients with software upgrades, system enhancements, customisations, and user training.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve functional issues in a timely manner.
• Escalate complex technical issues to specialist consultants or development teams when required.
• Monitor and manage support tickets, keeping customers updated throughout the resolution process.
• Maintain accurate documentation of customer issues, resolutions, and support activities.
• Contribute to internal knowledge base articles and support documentation.
• Build strong relationships with customers through professional and responsive communication.
• Support software implementation and other project activities where required.

 
Requirements

• Qualification in Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience supporting ERP or other enterprise business applications.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills with excellent spoken and written Business English.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced customer support environment.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team.

 
Nice to Have

• Qualification or knowledge in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Knowledge of Crystal Reports or SAP BusinessObjects.
• Previous experience providing ERP consultancy, user training, or software implementation support.
