Risk Manager - Malta
Salary: Up to €60,000 + Benefits | Hybrid Working
 
Boston Link is currently supporting a well-established insurance firm in Malta who are seeking an experienced Risk Manager to support the development and delivery of the risk management framework across their Mediterranean operations.
 
This is a key role within the business, working closely with senior management to ensure effective risk governance, regulatory alignment, and ongoing improvement of risk processes within a regulated insurance environment.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and enhance the risk management framework, including risk appetite, policies, risk registers, and assessments.
• Support regulatory requirements and ensure alignment with insurance risk management standards.
• Prepare risk reporting, including updates for senior management, committees, and Board-level stakeholders.
• Support ORSA processes, internal audits, regulatory reviews, and risk assessments.
• Provide guidance across the business to strengthen risk awareness and governance.
• Support the integration of sustainability and emerging risk considerations into the risk framework.

Requirements:

• 5+ years' experience within risk management, ideally within insurance, financial services, or a regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of insurance risk frameworks, governance, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with risk appetite, risk assessments, reporting, and control frameworks.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience presenting risk information to senior management or committees would be advantageous.
• Relevant degree or professional qualification in risk management, insurance, finance, business, or a related field.
