About the Role We are looking for an experienced
Data Engineer to join a growing technology team working on data-driven solutions within the iGaming sector.
You will play a key role in managing and improving the organisation's data platform, ensuring that high-quality data is reliably ingested, processed and made available for analytics and reporting.
This is a hands-on position working across modern data engineering technologies, with responsibility for both the development and operational reliability of data pipelines and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities - Design, build and maintain both batch and streaming data pipelines.
- Maintain and improve Spark streaming infrastructure, ensuring reliable operation and resolving issues when required.
- Develop and optimise data models and transformations within Snowflake using dbt.
- Operate and improve workflow orchestration using Airflow.
- Monitor pipeline reliability, data quality and overall system performance.
- Develop integrations with third-party systems and internal services.
- Investigate and resolve data issues across the complete data pipeline.
- Contribute to infrastructure, CI/CD and platform tooling supporting the data engineering function.
- Create and maintain clear documentation covering systems, data models and operational procedures.
- Work closely with product, analytics and engineering teams to deliver reliable and scalable data solutions.
Requirements The ideal candidate will have:
- 3+ years of professional experience in a Data Engineering or similar role.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with analytical databases or data warehouses.
- Strong programming skills, preferably in Python; Java or Scala will also be considered.
- Professional experience working with Apache Spark.
- Professional experience with Apache Airflow or another workflow orchestration platform.
- Experience building and maintaining data pipelines within a cloud environment, preferably AWS.
- Good understanding of data modelling and data warehouse design.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively with product, analytics and engineering stakeholders.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
Nice to Have - Experience with dbt.
- Experience with Kafka or other streaming technologies.
- Previous experience within the online gaming / iGaming industry.
