Responsibilities:
- Provide technical and investigative support for complex, high-risk due diligence cases involving onboarding and ongoing monitoring.
- Assess complex Source of Wealth and Source of Funds cases, including significant net worth, complex wealth accumulation and opaque financial backgrounds.
- Analyse ownership and control structures, adverse media, allegations and reputational risks.
- Lead or support the assessment and escalation of sensitive screening findings using a consistent, risk-based approach.
- Prepare detailed due diligence memoranda, technical reports and recommendations for internal committees.
- Act as a technical reference point for the team, providing guidance and supporting consistent, high-quality assessments.
- Improve due diligence processes, methodologies and internal practices.
- Monitor emerging risks and industry best practices, and contribute to team training and knowledge-sharing.
- A degree and experience in a similar role.
- Proven experience in due diligence, investigations, financial crime, regulatory compliance or a similar risk-based environment.
- Strong analytical and investigative skills, with the ability to assess complex, incomplete or conflicting information.
- Experience analysing Source of Wealth and Source of Funds cases, ownership structures and adverse media findings.
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear, structured reports and committee-ready recommendations.
