The Role:
As the Head of Risk, you'll be immersed in one of the most dynamic industries, collaborating with expert teams utilizing cutting-edge technologies and methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor market conditions and advise on strategic changes in business operations based on emerging risks.
- Implement internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, identifying potential risks and mitigation strategies.
- Develop a risk management strategy aligned with the company's business objectives.
- Recommend appropriate insurance coverage to safeguard against potential losses.
- Analyze data to assess risks associated with new products or services.
- Provide guidance to other departments on risk management practices.
- Foster a culture of risk awareness among employees.
- Implement and integrate trading platforms with Back Office systems.
Your Profile:- Hold a University Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or Risk Management.
- Possess Basic or Advanced Certification from the Cyprus Securities & Exchange Commission.
- Have at least 6 years of experience in risk management, insurance, or actuarial management.
- Demonstrated understanding of financial market regulations.
- Knowledge of financial and capital markets is advantageous.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
