Our client specializes in establishing and managing Maltese legal entities, holding a prominent position in the marine and aviation sectors. With a formidable team of professionals spread across over 50 jurisdictions, they offer unparalleled expertise and resources to assist clients in navigating the complexities of global business operations.

The chosen candidate will play a pivotal role in advising both the company and its clients on legal and commercial transactions. This includes the drafting, reviewing, and vetting of legal documents pertinent to these transactions.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Assisting in the legal assessment of commercial transactions, including drafting and reviewing commercial agreements and associated documentation.
  • Compiling summaries of key transactional terms and monitoring the progress and adherence to contractual obligations, particularly in transactions involving the purchase, sale, and financing of vessels and aircraft.
  • Providing guidance and support to the company in its interactions with clients and external parties.
  • Serving as the primary contact for all purchase and sale transactions, coordinating with various stakeholders such as lawyers, financiers, advisors, shareholders, and clients.
  • Drafting and reviewing corporate governance materials, such as meeting minutes, resolutions, memoranda, articles of association, proxies, and similar documents.
  • Facilitating the establishment and dissolution of legal entities in Malta and potentially other jurisdictions.
  • Assisting with corporate matters related to the management and administration of client entities.
  • Collaborating with authorities in multiple jurisdictions and other professional service providers.
  • Managing both electronic and hardcopy filing systems.
  • Conducting legal research on diverse topics.
  • Staying informed about developments in local and international legislation and regulations.
  • Upholding the company's values by fostering a culture of professionalism, teamwork, and equality.

  • Minimum three years of relevant experience in yachting and maritime law.
  • Minimum three years of relevant experience in corporate law.
  • Qualified lawyer with a valid warrant to practice law in Malta.
